Working in partnership with a range of schools across West Yorkshire, the Yorkshire Rose Teaching Partnership delivers bespoke training packages to candidates on the PGCE & QTS routes, Primary & Secondary Teaching Apprenticeships, HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) career pathways as well as general Apprenticeship and training courses.
We are a key branch of the Trust and align with its visions and values; committed to providing the highest standard of education for the young people in diverse and relatively disadvantaged urban communities across the region.
The consortium works with a range of local Higher Education institutions including, Leeds Beckett University, Leeds Trinity University and 15 local schools. We are a key strategic partner with the Calderdale and Kirklees Teaching School Hub, helping deliver 'Golden Thread' ECT & NPQ training for teachers and other staff in schools. We also work with Exceed SCITT, graded as outstanding, on the Primary Apprenticeship teaching route.
From September 2024, our PGCE provision will be changing, in line with changes to national initial teacher training landscape. Nationally the option for School Direct will no longer exist so we are teaming up with the Trinity Institute of Education to offer the highest quality primary and secondary PGCE courses. More detailed information about our future PGCE courses can be found here.
Recruitment for September 2024 is now open. Find out more about how to apply.
